Pardo's
On these dreary December days, take a break and stroll into new Pardo’s Grand Buffet Mexicano Restaurant & Taqueria.
With its bright yellow facade and white interior walls - not to mention the made-from-scratch Mexican buffet - it’s just a short trip to south of the border.
Patrons also can order off the menu — fajitas, burritos, shredded beef, empanadas, enchiladas, Chile Rellenos, grilled shrimp, rotisserie chicken and more, including breakfast items such Huevos Rancheros.
Prices for the lunch and dinner buffet are $7.79 per person for adults, $3.99 for children ages 6-to-10, and $2.99 for children ages 2-to-5. Tacos are $1.
Owners Victor and Leticia Pardo have spent about a decade working in area Mexican restaurants after relocating from Mexico.
Their restaurant, at 904 Southwest Blvd., uses Pardo family recipes.
It is open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and from 9 a.m. to 4 a.m. Friday and Saturday, with a midnight buffet on the weekends.
